About Our Pastor
Rev. G.D. Solomon has been faithfully serving as the lead pastor of The Lord’s Church since 1997. He is the son of Mr. G. David Hudson and Mrs. Alice Hudson, and the grandson of Mr. S.S. Gideon Pillai—pioneers who first obeyed Acts 2:38 in Bangalore in the year 1962.
At just 24 years of age, Pastor Solomon answered God’s call and founded the church in his home in Maria Nagar, near the Sarjapura Road railway flyover in Bangalore, alongside one other believer. What began in a small setting has now grown into a dynamic fellowship that ministers to over 200 believers every Sunday through vibrant Kannada services.
The church continues to reach people from all walks of life—including many non-Christians—who gather to experience God’s presence and grow in His Word.
Pastor Solomon personally leads various ministries that serve people of all ages, languages, and backgrounds. He is known for his humility, simplicity, and powerful preaching, which stirs hearts and calls people to a deeper walk with Christ.
He holds a B.Com., Master of Divinity (M.Div.), and Master of Theology (M.Th.), and brings 28 years of experience in pastoral ministry.
Pastor Solomon is blessed with a loving and supportive family—his wife, Nirmala Susan Solomon, and their son, Andrew Hudson—who faithfully serve the Lord alongside him

The Lord’s Church—a place where faith, love, and community unite. We are a Bible-based, Spirit-filled church devoted to glorifying God, proclaiming His Word, and serving our community with compassion.
We believe in salvation through the name of Jesus Christ alone. Rooted in Acts 2:38, we are committed to preaching repentance, remission of sins, and the infilling of the Holy Spirit, following the apostles’ doctrine. Our foundation is built on obedience to the Word and the life-transforming power of the Holy Spirit.
Our journey began in a humble home, and by God’s grace, has grown into a vibrant, multicultural fellowship of believers. We joyfully welcome people from all backgrounds—especially those seeking truth, hope, and transformation through Jesus Christ.
We are more than a church gathering—we are a family. Together, we walk in faith, grow in Christ, worship in spirit and truth, and serve with love. Our mission is centered on Jesus and His call to make disciples who live, love, and lead like Him.
At The Lord’s Church, we believe the Kingdom of God advances when disciples are made and churches are planted. We are not only called to gather but also to go—equipping every believer to be a witness and worker in the harvest.
